Toot Sweet is an achievement in the Steam and Xbox releases of the game Amnesia: The Bunker. In the Playstation version, it exists as a gold Trophy. Toot Sweet is a missable skill task achievement, gained by performing an unusual action in the game—in this case, by speedrunning the game.

Overview[]

Toot Sweet is achieved by finishing Amnesia: The Bunker in under a set amount of time. The maximum amount of time is not specified in the details of the achievement description. It is experimentally established, however, to be roughly sometime under 40 minutes.

Issues with prompting this achievement failing to register for players, despite getting shorter times than those for whom it does register, has prompted Frictional Games to specifically address Toot Sweet in updates, as evidenced by patch notes, at least twice.[1][2]

Trivia[]

  • "Toot Sweet" is a humorous transcription (or "eggcorn") in English of the French phrase "tout de suite," which translates idiomatically to "immediately" or "very quickly."[3] The phrase would be translated more literally to "all in a row."[4][5]
  • The character in the achievements image is Boisrond, the last surviving French soldier that gives Henri the revolver.
