This is where the crew of the Cassandra went to seek shelter after the plane crash. There are various lore items explaining the backstory and some fates of the crew members. We find out in a note and from a flashback that there is some kind of creature in the cave. Heading deeper into the cave, Tasi finds a series of notes left by Salim.

Memories[]
Various flashbacks will be activated on exploring different parts of the level. These include the following flashbacks and the trigger locations:
- As you enter the cave and take a few steps, a flashback begins. We hear an injured Salim saying he can manage to walk and Tasi saying they were not far now from the other crew members.Section missing!This section is needed but has not been written yet. You can help Amnesia Wiki out by writing it!
- Upon approaching the cooking pot in the makeshift camp, a flashback occurs. We hear Dr. Metzier telling Salim to hold still as he attempts to stitch him up. Salim apologizes, saying he will be still. Tasi can be heard comforting Salim.
- After picking up Yasmin's employee card/pass, which is on the table near the chair in the catacombs on the left-hand side of the cave, a flashback begins. Yasmin asks Tasi if the child she is drawing is her daughter, and Tasi confirms that it is. Yasmin tells Tasi that her father is bugging her for grandchildren, then asks if Tasi left her in Paris. Tasi replies with a curt yes and Yasmin begins to ask if she is with her grandparents. Hank interrupts and asks Yasmin if she could help him check out the Sadiola samples. Yasmin agrees.

- After picking up the picture of Richard and Alex on the ground at the end of the first corridor to the left upon entering the cave, a cutscene plays. Richard can be heard saying that he cannot stay in the caves, as he feels there is something there with them and so he must leave. Alex tries to comfort him, saying that he will take care of Richard. Richard starts sobbing.

- After the chest with Salim's note on top, there is a cot with a box of 3 matches.
- After proceeding into the cave further, there will be a place to light a fire and a wicker basket. Take the top off and there is a box with 1 match. To find it, approach the pre-lit fire to the north and head down the cave entrance on the left.
- Upon entering the room deep in the cave where the wooden bar locks the door after entering, with the shrine to Tin Hinan, there is a box of 3 matches in the chest.
