  • Greetings, old friend.

I guess I've been away longer than I remember. How have things been here?

    • Hello, my water lurking friend. :o)

I'm fine, thank you, and I'm still around. I haven't been online so often, there has been alot for me to do lately. :oD  So, how are you?

    • Life goes on, I suppose. It's been quite the while since I've checked on the Wiki.

    • Yeah. I'm not so much on Wiki either. I've been busy with life, and there isn't much (if any at all) to edit in the Amnesia Wiki anymore. Most of it is already filled with information. ;o)

      How's life treating you? :o)

    • Not riddles at all; it's more of a decision game. I don't want to spoil too much but there is more than one solution to a problem when it's presented to you during gameplay. It just depends on your decision. You'd understand what I mean if you played the game. There are certain choices to make between how to solve a problem, but it depends on the end result of whichever path you choose. Either way will solve your problems, but which one is really the best option?

    • Ah, I see. :o)  I haven't played the game yet.

It sounds like a fun game to play. I will buy it someday. I think it'll be fun, and hopefully scary as well. What's your opinion about the fear factor? Do you find it scary? I hope it was as scary as you hoped it would be, so it is the horror game it was created to be, and to give you the joy of being frightened.

  • So I remember I got you to get Amnesia's HPL Engine for creating custom stories. If you want to do some advanced coding, I'd recommend an expert coder named Mudbill. His channel can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrMudbill

  • So I noticed you haven't been on in a while. I wanted to ask, are you like me where your only favorite game is Amnesia? Or do you play other games?

Your favorite Wikis are only the Amnesia Wiki (Like me. Yay buddies :3)

I used to play Minecraft, but that got a little boring since there's no real objective. You probably won't reply to this for a while since you're rarely on.

    • Kaernk: I know SOMA is first-person. But the other games sounds amazing as well. I hope to play SOMA someday... because I'm saving money right now, I can't buy the game yet. It'll have to wait.

    • SOMA costs $30 I think. I'll buy it in a couple of weeks I guess. I still have to beat FNaF 4... Night 7 is really causing me problems...

  • Wow. 2014 and still playing Amnesia? I thought I was the very last player. At least there's someone else who plays the game along with me. Never would have guessed. It seems like an Amnesia player is so uncommon these days lol...

    • I'd say Penumbra Overture is scary when it comes to the worm. Since it's used for chase scenes, it's not scary, but more stressful, especially when you know you're not fast enough, and you can hear it slithering behind you. I've checked a few photos of it, and the stats are incorrect. They said the worm does 300 bite damage, so I gave myself 100,000,000 health in the console (Same as I did with Amnesia, they both use the HPL engine), and I got killed instantly, so the worm was designed/scripted to drain all your health upon contact.

    • Hey, I've been checking Frictional Games's facebook!

      SOMA is in version beta!

They've sent out 40 copies to testers for feedback. People said it's scarier than Amnesia: The Dark Descent! And if you think about it, Amnesia is the moment of terror! Once the feedback comes in, bugs will be fixed, and then SOMA will be in release!
