Königsberg (or "Koenigsberg" when anglicized) was a major Prussian port city, its first capital, and home to one of the oldest Universities in Europe.[1] During the events of the short story "House of Gerich", the historian Klaas Gottschall leaves Königsberg to investigate Altstadt and Wilhelm's ultimate fate.
