The detonator handle is a puzzle item in Amnesia: The Bunker. It is required to progress and ultimately complete the game.

The detonator is found in the Roman Tunnels, outside of the bunker, unlike most other essential items in Amnesia: The Bunker, which are found in different areas within the bunker. There is a hole in the wall of the tunnels that reveals the location of the detonator, giving Henri an idea of its location.
However, there is some difficulty in searching for the detonator, as Toussaint Beaufoy, a soldier that has turned insane and hostile, patrols the tunnels and fires his shotgun at anything he hears. Beaufoy can be either killed or avoided. The detonator is one of two primary objects needed to blast through the Bunker's exit, the other being the dynamite bundle – one obviously being useless without the other.
Like any other essential object, it can not be dropped from the inventory once it's been collected, although it can be stored in the storage box to free one unit of inventory space. Once both the dynamite and detonator are in place, Henri can activate the plunger to trigger the explosion.
However, the blast does not reveal the bunker's exit, as it will instead create a hole that leads deeper underground, which leads to an Arena.
