A glitched data tablet.
Data tablets were, next to Memory Capsules, the dominant form of writing and data preservation for the inhabitants of the Other world. It was apparently usual for up to five or six of them to be stored in a stand on work desks.
Description[]
Data tablets took the shape of tablets or slates with rectangular slotted edges and a blank face upon which text would levitate.
Information[]
Little is known of how data tablets functioned, but they are apparently able to record information in several different scripts, including the Latin alphabet.
They were also apparently subject to data-corruption over time - more often than not, the tablets Tasi finds are of an orange-red hue with unintelligible text glitching across them.
