This page lists Wiki Projects, general and specific, to be done on the Amnesia Wiki.
General To-Do
- If you want to help, but are not sure where to start, try improving the various Stub articles by adding content.
- If you know how to take quality screenshots, see if there are any of the pictures in Category:Low quality images which you can replace.
- Also, check Category:Need images for any pages that could use some more images.
- Add sources for Quotes that do not yet have them.
- Another helpful activity would be to check the list of wanted pages for frequently linked-to articles that don't exist yet.
- The Amnesia Wiki has a few language sister projects, especially:
- the Spanish-language Wiki («Amnesia» Wiki en Español); and
- the Russian-language Wiki (русскоязычной «Amnesia» вики).
- If you are an editor on one of those wikis, add a corresponding interwiki link if you spot an article that has none yet.
- Amnesia Wiki:Projects lists all the projects on this wiki, each which have their own to do lists. Check the individual project pages to see what you can do, or sign up for a project you like, by requesting on the Talk page!
Ongoing Projects
Amnesia Achievement/Trophy Page Content Project
Current phase: Started
Mission
- The Achievement and Trophy pages for the various Amnesia games are underbaked, and many are not even created. They lack all the content that a curious lore-investigator or a player who wants to achievement-hunt would want. Create the missing Achievement/Trophy pages, and fill in all the missing details!
Goalmap
Create all achievement/trophy pages.- Add infoboxes (& infobox data) to all achievement/trophy pages.
Add intros and summaries of achievements/trophies.- Add relevant gameplay tips on how to get each achievement/trophies.
- Lesser tasks:
- Ensure each achievement has correct data displayed in its infoboxes
- Gamerscore (Xbox)
- Trophy level (PlayStation)
- Achievement description (italicized)
- Unlock requirements (should be much more brief than info in main article)
- Secretness (whether the game tells you how to achieve it through an available achievement description)
- Missability (whether it's possible not to get the achievement and still finish the game)
- Add descriptions of achievement images in
Appearance. - Add citations.
Ensure each has the appropriate Achievement Navbox.- Ensure each is appropriately categorized.
- Ensure each achievement has correct data displayed in its infoboxes

Comprehensive Image Improvement Project
Current phase: Not Started
Mission
- Many images on the Amnesia Wiki are old and of unfortunately low quality. The work of previous editors is much appreciated, and many of these uploads have served a genuine purpose. However, a Wiki is better served by images that (1) are sufficiently high resolution and (2) actually depict something-of-interest clearly and informatively. Look through the repositories of bad images, see if you can achieve the same with an image of better quality, and upload it to the Wiki!
Goalmap
- Review all Amnesia Wiki images related to the Content.
- If the image is bad, add {{Badimage}} to the file.
- Review all "Bad Images" already present in the Low Quality Images category.
- Check whether any can be replaced in their page instances by extant images of the same kind or subject.
- If they can be, replace the bad images with the extant good images in those instances.
- Any bad images without any uses can be marked as Candidates for Deletion with {{Delete}}.
- List those bad images which are used in instances in which they cannot be replaced on a special page, which will contain "bounties" for image subjects/kinds/purposes to replace them.
- Once images have been listed, they can be deleted IF AND ONLY IF they would be conspicuously absent on their original page, as in an infobox, AND they are replaced in those instances with File:Image needed.jpg to signify the need for actual replacement.
- Replace bad images (esp. screenshots) with higher quality images.

File Name Project
Current phase: Not Started
Mission
- [Explanation]. [Call to action]!
Goals
- Develop a system for naming image uploads with consistency (namely Screenshots)—images taken directly from Frictional Games might not need renaming, but if they do, it's best to have a system.
- Review every existing and upcoming file on this wiki.
- Sort (manually?) the files with bad filenames into a maintenance category (perhaps Category:Files with bad filenames?).
- Consider creating a notice template to mark an offending file for renaming, and automatically send it to the category.
- Rename all files with bad filenames appropriately.
