Trophies are present in the PlayStation 4 release of Amnesia: Rebirth.

Amnesia: Rebirth has a total of 41 trophies, most of which are secret, and many of which are unmissable and story-related. To be exact, thirty-four (34) of the trophies are secret trophies, while only seven aren't.

The PS4 edition, like all PS4 games, contains a single platinum trophy Platinum PlayStation trophy that is awarded to those who manage to collect all other trophies.

Archivist Collected notes to fill a journal. Achieved by finding and picking up at least 80 of the notes found in the game. Silver PlayStation trophy
Overlooked Kept quiet and still, and so escaped a predator's gaze.

Achieved by avoiding being spotted by a ghoul by laying down on the ground and staying still. Bronze PlayStation trophy
Trawler Found treasure beneath the water.

Achieved by finding the hidden items at the bottom of the pond in The Oasis. Bronze PlayStation trophy
Speedster Completed the game faster than any Frictional developer. Achieved by completing the game in under 2 hours and 15 minutes. Gold PlayStation trophy
Vandal Smashed lots of irreplaceable objects. Achieved by breaking 20 breakable objects. Bronze PlayStation trophy
Escape Artist Escaped a cage in the Arsenal without setting off a grenade.

Achieved by escaping from the cage in The Arsenal level without setting off the grenade – either by unooking the cable from the gate and unlocking the gate with the key found on a corpse, or by breaking a nearby section of the wall by throwing an item at it and crawling out. Achieved by pausing the game and returning to the main menu at the beginning of The Caves, right after leaving the camp, in the first properly dark area. Bronze PlayStation trophy
Translocator Sent extra objects through the portal in the Alchemist's Chambers.

Historian Found an unfinished letter from an archaeologist to his sister.

Achieved by picking up the Letter to Hazel found at the top floor at the top of some stairs, in a box in The Fortress. Bronze PlayStation trophy
Narcissist Gazed at a reflection in the water.

Achieved by interacting with the water in the fountain, either in The Fortress Courtyard or The Tower. Bronze PlayStation trophy
Curator Found all the memories recorded by others. Achieved by gathering all 17 memory capsules that can be found in the game (full list can be found on this page—the memory capsules are labelled with the word Cylinder in the list). Silver PlayStation trophy
Crewmember Found all Hank's notes on the crew of the Cassandra. Achieved by finding and gathering all of Hank's notes. Silver PlayStation trophy
Can-Opener Popped the lid on some carefully stored meat.

Achieved by opening a hatch on the wall by interacting with and turning a wheel at the end of The Cistern, causing some meat to fall out. Bronze PlayStation trophy
Lightbringer Burned a forest's worth of matches to illuminate dark places. Achieved by burning a total of at least 120 matches. Bronze PlayStation trophy

Trivia[]

  • Amnesia: Rebirth has the absolute most unmissable story trophies of any game in the series, as it's theoretically possible to complete the game with a minimum number of 22 (19 unmissable trophies, plus any one of two torture-related trophies, plus any one of three ending trophies).
    • Amnesia: The Bunker has the second-most unmissable story trophies, at 7 necessary trophies. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs has the absolute fewest at 5 necessary trophies, followed by Amnesia: The Dark Descent with the second-fewest at 6 necessary trophies (five story-related, plus any one of three possible ending trophies).
    • Amnesia: Justine technically has fewer necessary trophies, at precisely 1 necessary achievement upon completion (any one of three possible ending trophies), but Justine is a side campaign DLC and so would not count if restricted to "full-length" games. Thus its trophies are usually combined with The Dark Descent.
  • Analyzing trophies as a proportion of the total, 54% of Rebirth's trophies are unmissable.
    • This ranks it roughly in the middle of the series for proprotions of trophies being unmissable—A Machine for Pigs is first proportionately with 71% of it trophies being unmissable, then The Dark Descent third at 39% unmissable trophies (adding the Justine trophies to those of The Dark Descent), and The Bunker is last at 17% unmissable trophies.
