Hey there,
I read the lyrics to "Dieses Herz" on this wiki while listening to the song and noticed some small typos and some mistranlsation, at least I think they are. I then corrected these typos and worked out a "better" translation. Now I saw that there's a translation of the official site (http://jessicacurry.bandcamp.com/track/dieses-herz) but I don't know if they had a native-speaking doing it or someone whose second language is German.
The question is if we use the tranlsation from the official site or mine (from a native speaking perspective).
I've got the biggest problem with this part:
"Dein Herz schlägt unter meiner Hand"
and this is the translation for it:
"Your heart beats upon my palm "
Now "upon" doesn't mean "unter" like something lies underneath another thing, it roughly translates to "auf" = something lies on another thing, so to speak on top of it. So "unter meiner Hand" should be "underneath..."
And there's the next mistake. We say "Hand" to "hand" too. So the whole thing, not just the palm. The palm would be "Handfläche". The "surface" (="fläche") you touch things with.
